EAT your way to a happy brain!

It’s World Mental Health Day.

The very premise of this annoys me. Imagine having a World Physical Health Day!

Anyway, don’t let my cynicism fool you, this is a positive post.

A lot of the advice out there is around doing inner work to help bolster how you feel. I wholeheartedly endorse this but I also appreciate that getting off your arse to do it can feel like a gargantuan effort.

A simple hack to make it easier is to set yourself up for success by eating a whole food, plant-based diet for a whole week before attempting any intense “self” work.

By honouring your mind and body, with food that nourishes and restores it, reduces inflammation and allows your digestive system to rebalance, you will find the path has less resistance. And you’ll feel a lot better too.

For easy recipes and guidance, my friends The Happy Pear have today launched an app to help keep you on the path of self discovery and PB deliciousness. Check it out on the App Store: https://learn.thehappypear.ie

(NB: Not a paid for promo! I really love the candid, honest and health positive approach and I know many people they have helped to discover the joys of PB food!)
